@manton I’m noticing this too. My team builds an internal iOS app for frontline employees in a retail setting. They want to get into the app, do what they need to do, and then continue serving customers. Ever since iOS 26 we’ve been getting feedback that our app feels slower and my hypothesis is that some of the liquid glass animations are contributing to this sentiment.
@jake4480 yeah, that Doctorow interview I linked to in the post is really great if you have the time to watch it. Jon Stewart is whatever but Doctorow is excellent.

@patrickrhone love this. i framed my first rejection letter for a college internship and have it hanging on the wall of my home office. it’s been a conversation point with my kids as they’ve grown up to acknowledge that rejection is a part of life. It’s how you deal with it that matters.
